I have just completed a great two day course with Rona Green, at her wonderful studio at the Abbotsford Convert. The course was titled ‘Innovative Monoprinting’. Over two days we covered various methods of creating prints from lino and woodblock plates, using a variety of techniques including translucent inks and layering, and stencils. We printed using a hand barren and a press, printing on Arches BFK 250 gsm paper and lighter Japanese paper. Some of the results are below.
